Mission

In the tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Mary’s Health Clinics (SMHC) will carry out the healing ministry of Christ by providing necessary and accessible health services to the medically uninsured and underserved.

Vision

Affordable, accessible, quality healthcare is available to all individuals.

What We Do

St. Mary’s Health Clinics (SMHC) provides free medical care, outreach and education to low-income, uninsured families and individuals who are not eligible for government programs.  The clinics conduct health screenings, education and promotion and outreach in collaboration with community organizations. SMHC assists low-income people to find affordable healthcare coverage and believes that healthcare is a basic human right.

The clinics were founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Paul Province, upon the belief that healthcare is a basic human right, and relies on the Sisters of St. Joseph Ministries Foundation for administrative and grants support.
